Morgan Spurlock explained that H-2A guest workers are in the U.S. legally and temporarily. H-2A Visas require employers to provide housing and transportation for guest workers. Workers send most of the money they make back to Mexico. When picking season is over, they return to their families in the hopes of getting another H-2A Visa next season, even though it does NOT provide any sort of pathway to citizenship.
From executive producer Matthew Galkin: "Part of Morgan's job was to get up that morning and make dozens of authentic 'West Virginia' tacos for the entire H2A crew, a Morgan specialty. "
"I've never had a white person on my crew," says Eric, the group's leader.
From Executive Producer Matthew Galkin: "Eric turned out to be a real 'find' for us. Engaging, good-natured with a great, dry wit."
Riverfront Packing, which you're seeing here on CNN, is located in Vero Beach, Florida.
"If all the undocumented workers were all to be deported, the people that think food comes from the grocery store would be in for a rude awakening."
